Open to guests since 2013, No 3 The Old Dairy is a delightful country retreat for two. Set in a small farm on the edge a tiny hamlet, the cottage is comfortable and well equiped with a Super-Kingsize or twin bed. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are in a ‘dark skies’ location – plenty of stars. Only 5 miles from Wimborne, 8 miles from The New Forest.

Plenty of parking a few yards from the cottage. No 3 overlooks the horses’ fields and watch the hens scratching around the soft fruit bushes. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a ‘dark skies’ location – so it can be very dark at night. No street lights and limited outside lighting, but amazing views of the sky at night.
